Adding a category tree

Go to Category Manager

1. Enter the Tree name of the category
2. Press the Add button.

Editing a category tree

1. Right-click on the category tree,
2. Select Change name
3. Enter the new name,
4. Confirm the change.

Deleting a category tree

1. Select the category tree,
2. Press the button,
3. Confirm that You are about to delete the entire tree of categories.

Basic Editing of a Category tree

1. Right-click on the name of the tree of categories,
2. Select Edit,
3. Check Active,
4. Enter the Tree Name of categories,
5. Enter the Description,
6. Press the Save button.

Change the Editing Language to edit the record for other language versions.

Hiding the Tree of Categories

1. Check Hide in Tree of Categories,
2. Press the Save button.

Tree of Categories Positioning

Select Positioning.

1. Enter Friendly Link,
2. Select Display Options,

   If you select Set Manually:

3. Enter Page Title,
4. Enter Page Description,
5. Enter Keywords,
6. Press the Save button.

Change Edit Language to edit the record for other language versions.

Changing the Order of Category Trees

Use arrows to change the order of category trees.

Adding Categories to Category Tree

1. Right-click on the category tree name,
2. Select Add,
3. Enter the name of the new category,
4. Confirm the addition of the category

A category that does not have any assigned active products with a set price is not displayed on the store side.

Adding a subcategory to a category

1. Right-click on the category name,
2. Select Add,
3. Enter the name of the new category,
4. Confirm the addition of the category.

Deleting a category from the category tree

1. Right-click on the category name,
2. Select Delete,
3. Confirm that You are about to delete the category from the tree.

Changing the order of categories in the category tree

1. Press and hold the left mouse button on the category,
2. Change the position of the category,
3. Release the mouse button.

Changing the nesting of categories in the category tree

Nesting down

1. Press and hold the left mouse button on the category,
2. Change the position of the category,
3. Release the mouse button.

Nesting up

1. Press and hold the left mouse button on the category,
2. Change the position of the category,
3. Release the mouse button.

Showing Products from Subcategories

1. Check Show products from subcategories, When entering the category, the system will show products assigned to the given category, as well as products assigned to subcategories,
2. Press the Save button.

Showing Categories on the Store Homepage

1. Check Show on Homepage,

   The category will be displayed on the homepage.

2. Press the Save button.

Assigning Products to Categories

Select Assign Products

1. Check Products,
2. Select Selected: Add to Category.

Category Positioning

Select Positioning.

1. Enter Friendly URL,
2. Select Display Options,

If you select Set Manually:

Enter Page Title,

Enter Page Description,

Enter Keywords,

Press the Save button.

Change the Editing Language in order to edit the record for other language versions.

Category Configuration

In the admin panel, go to Applications → Categories

Select Configuration

Configuring the Display of Products from Subcategories

1. Check Show products from subcategories,

   When entering a category, the system will show products assigned to that category, as well as products assigned to subcategories,

2. Press the Save button.

Category Appearance Settings

1. Check Hide categories without products,
2. Check Show photo with category description,
3. Press the Save button.

Subcategory Configuration

1. Check Show subcategories after clicking on the category,
2. Press the Save button.

Category Appearance on the Home Page

1. Check Allow displaying categories from all levels,
2. Check Show category menu on the home page,

   The category box will appear on the home page of the store.

3. Enter Number of subcategories displayed,
4. Check Shorten category name,
5. Enter How many characters to shorten the category name,
6. Check Shorten subcategory name,
7. Enter How many characters to shorten the subcategory name,
8. Check Show category description (mobile),
9. Check Show category description (desktop),
10. Check Shorten category description,
11. Enter How many characters to shorten the category description,
12. Check Show button (mobile),
13. Check Show button (desktop),
14. Press the Save button.

Enabling product collections

1. Check Enable,
2. Select Display mode,
3. Press the Save button.
