How to add an ad on Facebook?

Learn how to start advertising on Facebook and reach customers through social media. Adding an ad doesn't have to be difficult. We'll show you how to add it step by step.

First, our goal is to add a remarketing ad on Facebook, which is to display an ad in social media to people who have visited our website. Why remarketing first? Because people who receive such an ad are more likely to return to the store and make purchases more willingly. In addition, adding other types of ads is much more effective if we have previously added remarketing ads.

We can target remarketing ads to people who have been on our website in the last 180 days. However, it is worth dividing customers into groups: 7, 28 and 180 days. The shorter the time we display the ad to the customer, the better, but we also need to remember that in order for our ads to be displayed correctly in the group, there should be about 1000 visitors.

If we set the time to, for example, 3 days (which is often recommended in various guides), and our website will have little traffic, the ads may not be displayed at all. That is why it is worth starting with an ad set for 28 days. After some time, you can add a group of 180 days and 7 days if the traffic on the site is high. Thanks to the division of customers, we will be able to differentiate both ads and budget depending on the time since the customer's last visit.
