Main Message

How you start writing about yourself will influence whether your customer will want to get to know you more and, consequently, whether they will want to buy something from you. Convey your company's motto to them in a few words and introduce them to your world. Avoid templates, write honestly and naturally, and build trust with customers from the start.

Store Description

This can be a short history of when the store was founded, who founded it, what it does, who creates it, how it has developed, etc. Tell your customers where the store is located, how to find it, show it on a map and on photos.

People

Write who creates the company. After all, when entering a classic store we see salespeople, we see their business cards with names, and even surnames. You can do the same in an online store - that is, simply show photos of the people who create it, who are responsible for customer service, etc. Let these be their real photos. Never use purchased photos that are not real.

Description of Offer

It may seem obvious and why write about it on the "About Us" page? But it is worth describing your offer in a few tasks. Why exactly these products and these brands are in it? What does your store specialize in? Etc.

A Little Formally

We don't like formalities, but they are necessary, so at the end of the description include all the formal data about your store. Even if they are published in the store's Terms and Conditions or in contact details.

Images

Remember that images replace thousands of words. Therefore, it is worth adding a few photographs. For example, if you run a traditional store, show it off. Show it from the inside, products in the warehouse or the process of packing ordered goods. Each such information will make you more credible in the eyes of the customer.

Typography

There is a lot of information that we want to present on the "About Us" page, but we must remember that the whole must be beautiful. It is not only what we present, but also how. When a customer opens the page, before they start reading anything, their consciousness will be filled with emotions associated with what they see. Pay attention to text formatting, selection of font size and type. Place good quality photos. Make sure to convey important information, but pay attention to make sure the text is not too long.
