Content Security Policy. Security of the store.

19/01/2021

We have added support for Content Security Policy (CSP), allowing for increased security of the online store.

What is Content Security Policy?

Websites and online stores often use various external services such as online chat, Google Analytics, Facebook, etc. CSP defines the rules that external sites can exchange data with the website or store.

How to activate Content Security Policy in the store?

  1. Log in to the store panel.
  2. Select from the menu Configuration->Module Configuration->Security
  3. Check the "Enable CSP" option and save.

Additional addresses

If you are using the standard version and add-ons from WebStore, you don't need to define anything else. The appropriate addresses are automatically added to the configuration.

If the store contains its own integrations and refers to external resources such as JS scripts, photos, etc., the appropriate addresses should be added to the "CSP Exceptions" field.
