We have added new features to the SOTESHOP online store to support sales: the number of products sold on the card and the number of people who viewed a given product. Both features use the so-called social proof, which builds trust with customers and motivates them to make purchases. Take advantage of the new features and increase sales effectiveness.

Social proof is a psychological mechanism according to which people imitate the actions of others, assuming that they are appropriate or beneficial. In marketing, it is used to build trust and increase sales effectiveness by showing that a given product or service is popular and valued by others.

New features

The new features are available as standard in updates for all versions of SOTESHOP 8. Below is an example presentation of a product card with the activated features.

Product interest

This feature allows you to show the number of people who have visited the product page. It appears after a certain amount of time spent by the customer on the page, as a pop-up bar with information. In the product configuration, it is possible to set the time period for counting the visited people.

Number of sold products

This feature shows the number of units sold for a given product. In the product configuration, it is possible to set the threshold at which this information appears.
